The reflect the Companys introduce itself to the public citizen is so pure and simple: to develop the country.. But beyond the papers(and documents) the Spy, who is Mr Schnitzel, spots out a huge reality: Com organizer peoples' basic target.. And whistles it to the main char of the book(i didnt get his current job anything but being a voyager for Panama from Valencia)..
Anyway..
In the end, Spy was murdered after whistling the Nitrate Company's secret to the char of the book.
But for the rest of the story, would "Char" give up to chase such a vital secret's progress and would leave the challenge for the Nitrate Companys People?.. We dont know it yet but closely might predict!
Book was fine. But i think, if i have read it from a larger/thicker kind of the press, i could get more imagination which largely fulfilled with fictional details which would make and open eye on me, i think...
